After four years of hell, President Biden and Vice President Harris are taking command of the vast powers of the federal government. They have many pressing issues on their plates, but one question may be the most vexing: what to do with the mob of criminals that previously infested the White House? We propose a simple answer: investigate them all and, if appropriate, arrest and prosecute them.
In the current political climate, it’s easy to dismiss any criticism of a political figure as motivated by partisanship. Nevertheless, serious crimes merit serious investigation. Many members of the Trump administration are credibly accused of significant criminal acts. We cannot let a general wish for “unity” be an obstacle for justice. Instead, if we respect the rule of law, every credible accusation should be thoroughly investigated and if necessary prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Even if it’s hard. Even if it’s bad optics. If bad actions by bad actors aren’t met with real consequences, the next round of bad actors will be confident in being able to do much worse.
Take a look at the miscreants below and then do us a favor: join us in using Resist.bot to text your governor with a message supporting the arrest and conviction of Trump figures. Text the code PGNNTM to 50409. If you have not used Resist.bot before, she will ask you a series of questions to get your account set up. After that she will send your elected officials this message:
